Awards From the Post Frame Industry
2013 Judges’ Award
This three-bedroom residence provides a unique living area. Because of its uncommon old grist mill theme, the home is especially newsworthy. Unique features include 30-foot cathedral ceilings, timber-frame wall and trusses, an 8 foot x 8 foot x 14 foot cupola open to the first floor, timber porches, a 12-foot shed roof dormer, a second-floor balcony, a third-floor open loft, a working wood water wheel, a retaining wall and a paved patio and walks. Post frame helped in the construction of the tall walls in the great room.
2007 Building of the Year Award
This building is used for "Best Used Trucks" truck sales and services and sits on twenty two acre site outside of Frystown, PA. The building consists of a service shop, wash bay and parts room with second floor storage. Office consists of main hall with cathedral ceiling at the reverse gables, reception, waiting room, lunch room, conference room and twelve rooms for offices.
External construction includes eyebrow roof on gable ends, two reversed gable roofs, stone and stucco around the office area with painted steel siding & roof makes this a very attractive building.
2005 Building of the Year Award
Voted winner by the National Frame Builders Association in the Retrofit/Remodel Category. The award was given at the Frame Builders Expo.
The building was originally built by Original Pole Buildings and the owner asked us to come back and do a remodel. Now, this is the primary residence for the owner.
We used red cedar rough board and batten siding with Eldorodo stone wainscoting. The design was a collaboration between the owner and Original Pole Buildings.
2004 Building of the Year Award
Voted winner by the National Frame Builders Association in the Suburban/Garages category. The award was given at the Frame Builders Expo in Columbus, Ohio in February 2005.
Built by Original Pole Buildings in 2004 for Steve and Jody Smith, this building has a white pine rough board and batten siding, shingled roof, a reverse gable on the front of the building. Swing out doors were handmade by Original Pole Buildings. It has useable second floor for storage and office.

Testimonials
Ruth Ann and I want to thank you for the wonderful job you and your employees did for us in building our barn. The barn is exactly what we wanted and actually turned out to be much better than we expected. Everyone who sees it is very impressed and I have been giving many tours. We have been putting it to good use. Ruth Ann uses it almost every day for dog training or teaching dog training. We have also received a number of inquiries from people who want to rent the barn.
It was a pleasure working with you, Teresa and everyone on your crew. We appreciated your design advice, attention to detail and desire to do a quality job. Your crew is the best! They did a great job, worked hard, were very personable and we actually miss seeing them come out now that the project is completed.
Our building experience with Originals was a extremely positive one. The entire team at Originals is very professional, courteous and responsive. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship are second to none. They worked closely with us every step of the way, incorporating our own design ideas and making suggestions and recommendations along the way.
We appreciated their conscientiousness and the great work ethic displayed by everyone at Originals—from the sales team to every person on the construction crews. The end result was even better than we had hoped for. I would recommend Originals to anyone.
(Writing about the building voted winner by the National Frame Builders Association in the Suburban/Garages category. The award was given at the Frame Builders Expo in Columbus, Ohio in February 2005.)
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you and your staff for another job well done. It has been enjoyable to work with a professional team. Hopefully, in the future we can do business again.
Originals built a pole building for me, and I love it. They made it exactly how I wanted it and it serves me very well. I would request anyone to use them!
We are at the end of the eight month process of your firm planning and constructing a 14,000+ square foot Post Frame Building in North Cornwall Township for my family.
Through this process you were responsive to creating a building to our specifications and needs. Your firm fulfilled all aspects of the contract we agreed upon. Your time commitments were realistic and accurate.
The building your team created will serve my family well for many decades to come. Thank you for your services. Best wishes for continued business success.
I was completely satisfied with the work of Originals.
The horse barn built for us by Originals, Inc. is like a dream come true. We are very grateful to the workers that applied their many skills to provide us with such a fine product. All of the horse people that have visited have been very complimentary in their comments about the quality of the horse barn.
Because of the horse background of the company owner we had confidence when consulting during the planning stages of the building. During the building it was easy to work out a few changes to improve the final product. Upon completion we do not feel left high and dry. The company contacts us to make sure we are satisfied.
We suppose the bottom line can be stated in this way - if we were to build again - we would without hesitation choose Originals in the planning and construction of our horse barn.
This letter is to express our thanks for the excellent job your men did on our garage. The workers were pleasant and accommodating while here working and did an efficient job getting the garage built in a timely fashion.
We appreciated your understanding and willingness to offer suggestions, when we planned the building and also when we made changes. The few items that needed to be addressed before completion were also done in an efficient manner. The garage looks wonderful in our wooded setting. We would surely recommend Originals to our friends!
I just wanted to say thank you again for all your help in making my dream of having a garage become a reality. It was a pleasure doing business with you and Original Pole Buildings.
Although the weather conditions were not the best, kudos go to your construction crew for doing a great job. A huge thank you to Josh for his concern when the driveway got damaged, and his decision to do what was necessary to remedy the problem. This certainly makes your company stand above your competition.
Thanks for an awesome building. Now that we've had some weather, I'm real sorry we waited so long to build. I'm glad we chose you guys. Your work crews and sub contractors all where very good. Len helped us make some good decisions. Thanks.
Some time ago I decided I needed a shed to put my implements in and get them out of the garage. I contacted Originals about the buildings they erect. The salesman came out to the house and I told him what I was interested in. They drew up a sketch with all the dimensions on and came up with a price. The price was very reasonable and I said "let's do it". They put me on the list and I now have a very nice shed to put the implements and wood in. They do great work and I highly recommend them to anybody who is looking to build a shed, garage or whatever your needs are. Thank you Originals for a job well done.
I would like to take this time to compliment you and your company on the construction of my garage. Your company was very easy to work with and lines of communication were always open. Even with severe and unusual weather conditions you were able to erect my building in a timely manner with great craftsmanship. I would recommend your company to anyone interested in building a pole-style building. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you for your great work - your team is efficient and we are pleased with the results!
Thank you for your kind attentions to my project. It was nice to have my building erected by your pleasant crew, and it all turned out to be pretty much a "fun" thing.
